Husband and wife Tracy and Julie Leonard each brought specific skill sets to their cow-calf and stocker program.
Julie brought 10 years of experience as an ag extension agent with a specialty in forage programs. She also brought ready-made clients to their hay business through her contacts in the horse business.
Tracy brought his experience in beef marketing and an already established stocker program. He also brought an “I can build that” attitude.
They married on Valentine’s Day in 2010 and combined their talents to build a successful business along Little Washburn Creek in Sebastian County, Arkansas, with 300 cow-calf pairs and 500 yearlings.
