Most Progressive Cattleman readers believe that the 2016 presidential candidates have little awareness of farming and ranching issues.
In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “How would you rate 2016 presidential candidates' awareness of farming and ranching issues?”
Readers have little confidence in the candidates. Only 0.6 percent rated their awareness as “very strong.” Another 0.6 percent said “somewhat strong.”
Meanwhile, 17.8 percent of readers said “somewhat weak.” And an overwhelming majority of 80.9 percent rated the candidates’ awareness as “very weak.”
