In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “When did you create a succession plan for the ranch?”

About 12.5 percent said they created a succession plan before age 50. Around 8.3 percent said they set it up between age 50 and 60. Another 12.5 percent said they tackled the task after age 60.
