In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “Where do you most often turn for genetic information?”

About 44.2 percent, the majority, said they use the internet to find genetic information. The next most trusted source is friends or neighbors – they received 20.8 percent of the vote. Another 19.5 percent turn to a seedstock producer for genetic information.

Only about 9.1 percent said they turn to a breed rep. And coming up last, 6.5 percent said they speak to an extension expert.  end mark
