Poll: Producers require two crew members during calving season

In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “How many crew members does it take you to get through calving season?”

Most producers (34 percent) said they require two crew members during calving season. Those who indicated they only need one crew member lost the majority by 1 percent, totaling in at 33 percent.

Fewer producers (16 percent) need three crew members. And only 1 percent more (17 percent) of producers need four-plus crew members to get through the calving season.
