In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “Do you think U.S. ag exports will suffer or benefit from the policy to increase tariffs?”
It was a close vote. Thirty-nine percent of readers thought that exports would benefit from the policy, but the majority of 43 percent thought exports would suffer.
The remainder, 18 percent of readers, didn’t know if exports would benefit or suffer.
