In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “How many living family generations work on your cattle operation?”
About 32.7 percent said they only have one generation working on the farm. While this is a good portion of the vote, those who have two or more generations working on the operation totaled to be 67.3 percent of the vote.
Around 31.6 percent has two generations. Another 29.6 percent said they have three generations. About 6.1 percent said they have four generations working on the operation.
