In a recent poll, we asked, “How would you increase the Beef Checkoff programs?”

While 58 percent of readers believe that there is no need to increase contributions to the Beef Checkoff, a good chunk of readers would increase contributions in some way.

Twenty-four percent said that they would increase the national Beef Checkoff from $1 to $2 for greater promotion power. While another 18 percent said that they would keep the national Beef Checkoff at $1 and have states collect an additional $1.  end mark
