In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “What is the most overrated genetic trait?”

Only 14.8 percent said maternity is overrated, and another 22.2 percent said marbling is overrated. Ribeye almost won the majority, but was short by 2 percent – 30.5 percent of readers think the ribeye trait is pretty overrated.
